WHAT IS THE FORMAT FOR THIS WEEKEND’S RACES?
This weekend’s races will be in a draw/passing points format. Drivers will check in and draw in the pit shack. Drivers will race their heat races and based on USMTS passing points, be lined up for their feature races. For car classes that have to run a B-Main, the top 16 in passing points will be guaranteed a starting spot in the feature. Everyone else will have to come through a B-Main

WHEN AND HOW WILL A CHAMPION BE CROWNED?
A Meltdown Champion will be crowned Saturday night. The Dacotah Speedway will combine driver’s finish from Night 1 and Night 2 (same format as the 2022 Govenor’s Cup). The driver with the lowest score in each car class will be the Mandan Meltdown Champion.

For example, a driver will earn one point for winning, two points for finishing 2nd, three points for 3rd, and so on. Combined with their score for Night 2, the lowest score wins. In the event of a tie, a driver’s finish on Night 2 will be the tie-breaker.
