Yost holds on to win season crown

When the green flag waved in the IMCA Sport Compact feature, Alex Thompson and Kyrs Yost split the front row of Dustin Thompson and Couy Snyder. Thompson and Yost raced side by side for the lead. Yost got loose which allowed Thompson to pull away. Although the championship was out of reach for Alex Thompson, he led all six laps to win the feature. Krys Yost’s runner up finish was enough to clinch the track champion. Couy Snyder finished third while Dustin Thompson finished fourth.

appert secures first hobby stock track championship

Three complete restarts slowed the Hobby Stock feature down at the start. Derrick Appert and Seth Howe-Kellar battled hard for the lead. As Derrick Appert and Howe-Kellar raced side by side, Mike Appert and Josh Roehrich raced side by side for third. A caution with seven laps to go regrouped the field and on the restart, Derrick Appert and Howe-Kellar continued to battle for the lead. When the checkered flag waved, Derrick Appert held off Seth Howe-Kellar for the victory. The win also wrapped up the track championship, his first in the Hobby Stocks. Jeremy Herr made a late race pass to finish third ahead of Mike Appert and Josh Roehrich.

madler takes home first ever victory

In the INEX Legends feature, A.J. Davenport and Noah Madler battled for the lead when the green flag waved. Davenport led early before fading through the field. Noah Madler took the lead on lap three but had his hands full with Collin Compson and his brother Gage Madler. The low line was the preferred line. As the laps wound down, Preston Martin slowly worked his way to the front. When the white flag waved, Preston Martin made a last lap pass to finish third ahead of Collin Compson. Kody Machart rounded out the top five as Noah Madler won his first Dacotah Speedway victory over his brother, Gage Madler. Martin’s top three finish was just enough to win his first track championship.

domagala reign at the top continues

Dustin Frank and Dylan Herner led the field to the green flag in the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Jason Meidinger, who started third, quickly grabbed the lead and pulled away from the field. Points leader Hunter Domagala quickly drove through the field and was up to second by lap eight. Domagala wasted no time reeling in the leader. They briefly raced side by side before Domagala took the lead with nine to go. Hunter Domagala cruised to victory to win his third race in a row and won his fourth track championship in a row. Jason Meidinger finished a season best of second place. Matt Dosch finished third ahead of Shawn Volk and Chris Welk Jr.

keller nabs 4th victory in 2023

Outside pole sitter, Elijah Puckett grabbed the lead from pole sitter Travis Traut in the IMCA Modified feature. Puckett quickly had his hands full with friend and teammate, Quentin Kinzley all over his rear bumper. As the leaders battled for the lead, it allowed Jeremy Keller to close in and make it a three car battle. They briefly raced three wide before Keller took the lead on lap eight. As Keller started catching lapped traffic, second place Marlyn Seidler started reeling in the leader. They battled for the lead in lapped traffic before a caution with two laps to go reset the field. On the final restart, Keller and Seidler battled hard for the win. Going into corners three and four the final time, Seidler threw a Hail Mary slider. Seidler got loose and nearly spun in front of the field. Marlyn Seidler held on to finish second ahead of points leader, Mark Dahl. Spencer WIlson finished fourth while Quentin Kinzley rounded out the top five. Jeremy Keller crossed the finish line first to win his fourth victory of the season.
