This Friday, July 24th is ๐๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ก๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ plus the Nic West Memorial Race.
Nic West raced at Dacotah Speedway for many years, primarily in the IMCA Sport Compact division. Nic’s standout season was in 2014 where he won three feature victories, including one on Drive to Survive night, which was extra special for Nic and his family as his mom was battling from breast cancer at the time.
Nic passed away in 2023 after struggling with addiction. This Friday we race in Nic’s memory, and anyone else who has, or is currently struggling with addiction.
